Madrid - Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has selected 23 of his squad. But the Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is not included in the squad at the Confederations Cup tournament held in Brazil this month.

23-year-old player is Spanish core players when it won the European Championship in 2008 and 2012 and the World Cup in 2010, but now he is struggling with a foot injury pain in the last few weeks of last season.
